Dr. Michael Holt, NC, CHI
Dr. Holt specializes in Natural Medicine and teaching people how to take control of their lives and health without drugs. Michael started his education in the military and with La Verne University. He has traveled the world extensively and is an international presenter teaching people how to look at health care and the mind in new ways. Michael is the President of the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the International Hypnosis Federation as well as a certified Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Instructor. He is the founder of the Magi Institute of Natural Medicine in Santa Clarita California and a writer for many therapy blogs around the country.
On Saturdays you will be able to hear Michael on the radio hosting a show about horses and western life. Dr. Holt is a certified Horseback Therapy Instructor for the disabled and was president of Heads Up, Inc “therapy on horseback” during the big fire in Santa Clarita.
On Thursdays you will find Dr. Holt at the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center doing a FREE Class in the afternoon on how to take control of your life again. He covers subjects like meditation, self-hypnosis, the law of attraction, the mind, nutrition and a wide range of other topics. You need to come early because his class is always full.
One of the more interesting facts is that Michael is a pilot and was on the Board of Directors for Angel Flight of GA (AFOG) during 911. AFOG was the first organization to be allowed to fly again and was asked to fly rescue personnel and supplies to NY. Over 70 missions were flown in just the first week by the private pilots with military escorts into NYC. All the blood collected by the Red Cross needed to be processed in TX and AFOG was asked to collect it and transport it to TX then to NYC. Remember that all of this was being done by volunteer pilots with no funding and the money for gas and the planes were paid for by the individual
pilots.
