Pink Lady

Pink Lady

Hello. I’m Jackie Goldberg, a.k.a. the Pink Lady, and I wanted to tell you a little about who I am. Besides the fact that I am thrilled to start Senior Chic magazine with all of you, I have had a wonderful journey getting to this point in my life.

Even as a little girl growing up in a small town outside Boston, Massachusetts, I had a “positive attitude” towards life. I loved being on the stage and started early, at age four and a half.

Marrying at the age of 17 and having three children by 23, my life started out quite busy and challenging. After the loss of my first husband, I married a gentleman who had two children, thus the Goldberg family saga began. I became a most successful sales rep for woman’s wear and traveled all over the country. During that time, the infamous and famous, Pink Lady, became my persona.

My philosophy of life is to “Think Pink”. To feel the aura and the magic that a color can give to let me see life through rose-colored glasses. When my second husband passed away, I reinvented myself and started many wonderful new careers.

I became an actress and started my motivational speaking company called, “Get Up, Get Out, and Get a Life!” and began another joyous journey down the road which enabled me to visit many fascinating places and meet fabulous people.

I volunteer at the Getty Museum, I am a Toastmaster, I am a SAG reader for children in elementary schools under the name, Pink Grandma’s Reading Class. I give my seminars/workshops all over, practice private counseling for mature adults, and am most excited about my new venture, Senior Chic magazine. I am also producing a senior show called, Senior Star Power Productions.

At this enlightened stage in my life, with five wonderful children, six super grandchildren, I am learning how to reinvent my life to be able to live it to the fullest with a positive attitude. I have realized that life is for the living, so we must learn to live it with energy, enthusiasm, and excitement.

Senior Chic magazine, I believe, will show everyone that no matter what your age is, when you think young, you are young! Age is only a number and I hope and pray that every one of you out there will continue to call that number for a very long time.
